We are on our way to Casa Pedrucci… again, a beautiful landscape is ahead of us. Through winding country roads, without knowing if we were still in the correct route, we came across a beautiful waterfall and huge cactus plants. Beauties that you find while driving in Brazil!
The history of Casa Pedrucci starts in 1970 when the nono (great-grandfather in Italian) José Pedrucci started the familial culture of elaboration of homemade wine. Helping the nono in the production of wines, Gilberto who is currently the oenologist and director of the family business, fell in love with the wine world. In 2001 the building where the winery is located was purchased and renovated.
Already in 2002 they won the first international prize with their sparkling wine at the Vinalies – the main and most prestigious international wine and sparkling wine competition in France. From that moment on they have collected many national and international prizes solidifying they presence and recognition as the one of the best producers in Brazil.
RESPECT AND LOVE FOR WHAT THEY DO
Just when we arrived at the winery, Sr. Gilberto and his son, Guilherme were already waiting for us. Immediately we start with a tour through the winery and its wine making process. Here some employees are turning the bottles with sparkling wines so carefully, the respect and love for what they do can be felt with every move.
After the tour we were invited in the tasting room and have the chance to taste those fresh and crispy sparkling wines. This is one of our smaller wineries, but they are making sparkling wines (known as espumantes in Brazil) which are considered to be incredibly beautiful. There was no doubt we really wanted them in our portfolio so the discussions started and after a short time our contract was signed. Now these amazing wines are available to you!

Here you feel the personal touch of the father and his son in the wine making process. Father worked in his past for various famous brands and with all the experience gained he decided to start his own winery, and with success!
Casa Pedrucci’s production is limited, which makes its wines unique and exclusive. Even with constant growth, the winery continues to prioritize its artisanal, family-owned and passionate way of making high quality products.
It is worth tasting it. This is a product made with love from Brazil!!
